Definition
Pension schemes have been added to the UN definition, so the Danish figures are comparable between sectors in Denmark. In Denmark there are differences in how you get paid for work. Eg. In the public sector pension schemes are part of the pay package, where that is not the case for some private companies. These companyes has a higher hourly pay and expects the employees to make their own pension schemes. It is not possible to list the number of people with disabilities, as Statistics Denmark does not have a sufficiently defined demarcation of persons with disabilities on a register basis.
The official UN definition requires disaggregation by gender, age, and disability status. It is not possible to determine the number of persons with disabilities, as Statistics Denmark does not have a comprehensive register-based classification of persons with disabilities. Furthermore, Statistics Denmark has chosen not to disaggregate by age.
