Definition
The indicators provide an overview of the Danish economy and are calculated by Statistics Denmark on the basis of data from national accounts, government finances, the balance of payments and Danmarks Nationalbank's financial statistics. The indicators are thus in accordance with the principles of the International National Accounts Manuals ESA2010 and SNA2008, the Balance of Payments Manual BMP6 and the guidelines for financial statistics. From the year 2022 and onwards the indicator “Core capital to assets ratio” is used instead of “Capital to assets ratio”. The changes apply as the National Bank of Denmark has implemented the newest FSI guide.
