Definition

The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark based on the Energy Accounts. It is produced in two versions. In the first version total gross energy consumption is related to GDP. In the second version, which follows UN and UNFCCC guidelines, total gross energy consumption is measured exclusive of bunkering abroad by Danish operated vessels. GDP is the same in both versions, and measured in 2020-prices, chained volumes.
